New standards for English-language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) have been developed by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training (DET), which have been implemented on 1 January 2018.

Part of the new standards affect how VET providers such as Windsor College, deliver English as an Additional Language (EAL) courses.

As a result of the changes Windsor College, will no longer accept new enrolments into our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programs from 1 March 2018. This includes new student enrolments for;

·       22255VIC Certificate III in EAL (Further Study)

·       22258VIC Certificate IV in EAL (Further Study)

Existing student enrolments before this date may continue training with Windsor College.

Instead of delivering EAL, Windsor College is planning to begin delivery of General English, and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses in 2019. More information on delivery will be provided in due course.
